We read in Daniel 1 and verse 8 the following. “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Purity is a personal Choice. Daniel Choose purity. The Word defile means: Corrupted, or to make dirty. Daniel Choose to stay pure. The Bible speaks about purity often. We are to be Holy: 1 Peter 1:13 We are to be Clean: Psalm 73:1 We are to Be Sanctified: 1 Thess. 4:3

The Lord blesses Moral purity. Purity affects: Our Eyes: Seeing and Looking are different. Our Ears: Hearing and Listening are Different. Our Hearts: The Surface and the Root are Different. Our Lives are affected by: What we hear. What we see. Who we are influenced by.

The affects can be life long. The result can be the Wrong life mate. The result can be the wrong life career.  The result can be the wrong life direction.

The Choice is ours;

What we Listen To:  Music: Conversation: Vulgarity.

What we Look At:  Television: Magazines: Internet:

Who we Let influence Us:  Friends: Acquaintances: Others Friends. Authorities:

We are affected by our senses. What we see: What we hear. Who we are with. There is a subtle power that works undetected. The fruit however is very visible. We must make the right choices.
